Amelia is an acclaimed West End performer, leading lady and vocalist.

                                                                     

A graduate of The Royal Academy of Music; Amelia studied under the musical direction of Mary Hammond, and whilst there had the privilege of singing for composers & lyricists including Stephen Sondheim and Jason Robert Brown.

 

Since graduating Amelia has established herself as a versatile performer carving out a successful and eclectic career. 

She garnered herself a well-received leading lady status playing Lois Lane, one of the principal roles in Kiss Me Kate, with the Welsh National Opera.

Her career has seen her play diverse roles in a variety of musicals, both in the West End and on tours across the U.K. & Ireland. Shows include Jersey Boys, Hairspray and Spamalot amongst others.

Prior to lockdown Amelia was originating a role in the brand new musical based on the US TV sitcom Friends; she was giving her best Monica Geller impersonation in Friends! The Musical Parody.

 

A production that took Amelia from London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket to major Concert Hall venues and theatres around the country, singing swing fronting a Big Band, was The Rat Pack - Live from Las Vegas and its seasonal version Christmas with The Rat Pack.

Amelia's voice lends itself to a multitude of styles and genres.

She is as comfortable performing intimate cabaret sessions, recently appearing at Crazy Coqs, Brasserie Zedel, as she is singing alongside the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra at The Royal Albert Hall.

Her work has taken her further afield to Europe and across the pond where she had the good fortune to sing at Charlie Parker’s Birdland in New York.

Away from the footlights, Amelia incorporates her wealth of dance technique, training and experience with her passion for Pilates as a qualified Pilates Instructor.
